SYD to BNE Link Issue

Resolved

At 0116AEST this morning, the Primary link between our SYD Core Network and our BNE Core Network failed due to a fibre outage with one of our main providers.
Our Secondary link failed to route the traffic originating from the SYD Core Network to the BNE Core Network, this was resolved at 0145AEST.
All traffic origination from the SYD Network will have had issues connecting to the BNE Network during this time.

The Primary link came back up at approximately 0300AEST.
At this time, all the traffic between SYD and BNE would have automatically failed back to it.

Cloud Kinnekt have tested the failover between the Primary and Secondary links at 0400AEST and they are operating as normal, so we don't expect to have any significant outage moving forward if the Primary link between SYD and BNE fails over.
